Summer is Coming

I know that a lot of states have already experienced 100 degree temperatures. I'm not one to brag but, we wore jackets today. BUT, here in lovely Bavaria, Germany, we are about to get a heat wave!

Sadly, I'm not joking though when I say it's about time to bring out the AC. Here in Germany, houses don't come with AC. It's not technically needed. There are only a few days out of the year that are really hot (we're talking 90 degrees)

Also, housing has access to our heaters and regulates them so even though the low may be 45 one morning (to me, I need heat!), the heaters are shut off because the high is 77. A side bit of information, if you are moving to Germany, I highly invest in buying an AC (can be used, check local yard sale sites, we actually got ours for free!) and a portable heater or two. There are some mornings I wake up, and our radiator is too much heat but our little portable heater is just perfect!

Anyway, even though the temperature will be 82, it will be 90 in the house. See where the AC will come in handy?

Since summer is coming near, I stumbled across this...

My summer officially starts in less than 3 weeks. This is when I will head back to the states for a visit. I want to see how many of these I can get done! I know some of them will be incredibly easy but some of them, like planetarium, probably won't happen. But it will still be fun to see how much can get done!

Now to go dig the AC out of the storage building! (Cross your fingers it still works!)
